Big Shoulder was set up by two ex-BBC documentary makers who recognised the exciting
and expanding potential of the Internet to reach people through the medium of film.

Having made documentaries for 12 years at the BBC, we know how powerfully they
affect audiences. People identify with and react to the topics being explored within them.
Documentaries are a direct and accessible way to raise awareness and share experiences.

We have made television documentaries for some of the most prestigious factual strands
on the BBC and Channel Four. Our web films are beautifully and professionally crafted with
an authenticity to them which marks them out as distinctive and unique in corporate video
production.

We make films on work-related issues for sale and general distribution. We also make
bespoke films to meet the needs of a particular client or community.
